Check out my scraps for my newest art! (It lives there until I colour it.)

I'm doing art trades at the moment, if anyone wants to play that. I've been neglectful of my drawing lately, but I love to draw original fantasy characters.
I also do Gaia avatars and OCs for gaia gold, because I'm as poor on gaia as I am in real life, and it's getting hard to keep Easlethistle_Furfang in virtual boots.

Nothing else going on. I'm job hunting.

The weather down here is positively divine, christmas was a ball, and Euchronia on new years eve was an amazing experience. I'm looking forward to this years one!
Arcanacon is coming up (australia day) so I have heaps to look forward to.
I've been planning to scan a MASSIVE pile of art which has piled up while the WOW players dominate the only computer with a scanner. Batten down the hatches for what will hopefully be a deluge of work that I hope you'll like. In the mean time, have a picture of the jewelry I made for Euchronia, and anyone with a myspace will find a couple of photos here :viewmorepics.myspace.com/index… of the costumes I threw together for it.

PS, I'm deleting a pile of art as well. My DA is woefully neglected and all my newish stuff ends up in scraps because I have yet to colour it.

You heard me right. I'm out of here.
On friday I'm jetting off to sunny (read: inhospitable) queensland for a six week farriering course. That means shoeing horses, if you aren't "up" on the "lingo".  Yes, I do see, and accept, the stupidity of going to do what is hot, sweaty work, in the middle of summer, in the hottest-freaking-place-on-earth.
If I don't melt in the heat, or burn to death, I'll probably get stomped by a horse anyway, so it's all good.

My internet will be so-so and I will certainly not be submitting any artwork, so you can expect complete silence from my account until christmas (not that you've ever been led to believe you can expect anything else...)

I've got an exciting rest-of-year and new year coming up though! I've just turned eighteen (OH, THE WILD DRINKING AND PARTYING... not) and if you ignore the fact I'm probably going to DIE in queensland, I'm coming back just in time to get ready for and go to Euchronia, an end of year steampunk ball (my costume is gorgeous! ^___^), and then, who knows? To infinity and beyond! (in pursuit of blacksmithing apprenticeships, that is)

Have a merry festive season, don't work too hard (that's for idiots who take a holiday from their cushy bookshop job to go bush and get et by horses) and I'll be back soon!

UPDATE from Queensland: Oh My God. It is hot. I am tanned! WON'T SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS STICKY, SPIDER INFESTED HELL?

I think I've been in the children's section for too long- I know more then anyone should about children's books and authors. Expect fanart. If you can expect anything from me *cringe, ashamed* I know I've been doing nothing, but my dad has taken up WOW and the scanner is connected to the computer he plays it on (constantly). And, despite buying the full creative suite, we have no photoshop on any computer *is enwearied*

Hopefully I'll have something for my watchers soon. They must be so disappointed in me, all one of them. (that one is my sister, so I can guarantee her)

If anyone listens to the Killers, can you leave a comment and tell me which CD should be the first one I buy? Ta.

Tomorrow at the "shop" (since that's what I call the forge and the bookshop, I should clarify. The Book"shop") We're having a Tiara Princess Summer party. I'll be dressed in a tutu and fairy wings. As I believe (rightly) that fairies should be AS SHINY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE it will probably be hard to make me out on film (I know, no one uses film anymore >.>) as I'll be extremely... Glittery.
Still, expect photos. Demand them. XP

Um, no other news, other then my pet rat, Pain, died today. She was old and happy, that's all I can ask.

Our scanner is back and I have some pictures to put up. They're creepy and gothic and I'm sure they'll be taken very well (because my creepy and gothic stuff is the stuff that gets faved o.O)
